C. Paul Sargent is the owner and director of Bear Ecologic Ltd., and a senior wildlife biologist. He has over 20 years of wildlife and environmental experience with a vast skill set that includes the completion of large environmental assessments, wildlife modelling, the development and implementation of wildlife mitigation and monitoring programs, and human-wildlife conflict investigation and management.

Paul has extensive experience designing and leading wildlife surveys and has been identified as a Wildlife Resource Specialist, Wildlife Subject Matter Expert, and a Qualified Environmental Professional. He also has extensive wildlife handling experience, and wildlife chemical immobilization experience. His area of specialization is black and grizzly bear biology and ecology. Paul has been teaching bear behaviour and awareness programs for 18 years and is also a qualified Advanced Wilderness and Remote First Aid Instructor
